Manning River, NSW, Australia: The mighty Manning River is the only double-delta river system in the Southern Hemisphere, which means the river has two outlets flowing into the ocean. From its beginnings high up in the mountains of the Great Dividing Range, the river covers a total length of 261km. The Manning River winds through rural towns and quiet riverside homesteads to the west, before changing scenery to flow through the urban terrain of Taree and out into the ocean near the discreet seaside villages of both Old Bar and Harrington. A quiet and peaceful paddle sure to enlighten the senses, leaving you with a feeling of accomplishment.
